Who better to create the products moms needs for Baby than moms themselves? No one! That’s why we’ve put together a collection of very special mom-invented products running 12/16-19 on zulily. All the products were invented and produced by mom-preneuers so you know they’ve got to be great. Take a look at what we’re featuring and the stories of the women behind these great ideas.
Baby K’tan was created by the Chesals and Wernicks – two families who have been close friends for years. Each family was raising a child with special needs, in addition to two other children. Unsatisfied with the carrier options on the market, they began creating different designs that combined style, ease of use, and comfort. Its innovative double loop design features a built-in back support and its cotton construction provides breathability.
Danielle Batchelor conceived of the idea of Neatnik Saucer at a wine bar in Sonoma County. Shortly after having her first son, this self-proclaimed restaurant and travel-loving mother in San Francisco, began to brave the restaurant scene with new baby son in tow. After multiple instances of retrieving toys off of the floor, Danielle landed on the idea of Neatnick Saucer, a two-in-one high chair cover and place mat keeps food and toys off of the floor, provides a sanitary barrier and clean activity space and makes for an easy cleanup.
The Potty Purse
As a busy mother of two, Sophia Madison, dreaded the words “mommy I have to go potty” when we were in public. To make life easier (and cleaner) she invented The Potty Purse. Designed to carry a potty seat, this chic bag gives parents the freedom to bring along a child’s special seat without embarrassment. Boasting a gorgeous print with an interior and exterior that can be wiped clean, it features a water-resistant compartment for soiled clothing as well as large pockets for wipes, keys and cards to eliminate the need for a second purse.
