A crib bumper is like a rainbow—it won't be around long, but while it is it brings oodles of fun! You might not get many opportunities to buy a bumper, so enjoy this special time and invest in the best.
The specs. Most commonly, a bumper comes in two styles: either wrapped around the individual railings or as an entity lining the crib. It is used to keep things from getting caught at the edge and from falling to the floor. Make sure the bumper is easily washed and, of course, incredibly soft. Think outside the box. Crib bumpers can provide more than just something pretty to look at. They can play a role in Baby's growth by stimulating their senses. Look for ones designed to draw little ones' attention and that come with pieces to crinkle and grab at. Not only will this add an accent to the room, but it will help to enhance Baby's environment.
