Come see the largest holiday parade in the southeast as Peachtree is transformed to Santa Claus lane. With floats, giant helium-filled balloons, and marching bands. Stake your spot early as thousands of spectators will be lined up along the streets eagerly awaiting the arrival of Santa.
You don't need a dog to enjoy the Atlanta Botanical Garden's annual event when Atlanta's dogs dress in their holiday finery and compete in various categories. Enjoy Pup Tent refreshments, photos with Saint Nick, and connect with local canine enthusiasts and businesses in the Doggie Expo. The first 100 pre-registered participants to arrive receive a special Wag-Bag of gifts!
Chef Art Smith will transform Southern Art into a winter wonderland at the annual children’s holiday party featuring the North Pole’s finest, snow included. Guests of all ages are invited to decorate gingerbread cookies with chef Smith, take photos with Santa and his reindeer and indulge in a delicious hot chocolate bar complete with adult-only selections. Adding to the festive affair will be a snow machine creating an authentic winter backdrop and a local children’s choir performing traditional holiday tunes throughout the day.
Join Pastry Chef Kathleen Miliotis of Davio’s Atlanta to lead a demonstration and workshop, teaching guests how to build a personalized gingerbread houses fit for the North Pole. Each participating child will receive one gingerbread house todecorate (with delectable decorations included) as well as delicious afternoon snacks prepared by Davio’s Executive Chef Richard Lee. To make the event even sweeter enjoy gingerbread, marshmallows, and all kinds of candy courtesy of River Street Sweets. In the generous spirit of the holidays, we ask that each family help in one small way: arrive at the workshop with one unwrapped toy and help North Atlanta Toys for Tots..
