Dr. Seuss Art Exhibition Debut

Starting on May 18, Bellevue’s Gunnar Nordstrom Gallery will host a special traveling exhibit of rare Dr. Seuss artwork. The Art of Dr. Seuss – Rare Editions exhibit will offer kiddos and parents alike an extraordinary look into the artistic life of Theodor Seuss Geisel and includes now-rare editions from his Secret Art, Unorthodox Taxidermy Sculpture, and Archive Collections. On opening night, national artist representative and Kirkland resident Jeff Schuffman will present a brief lecture at the gallery at 7:00 pm, providing insights into Geisel’s artistic endeavors, his unique vision, and impact on American culture. Twirl Cafe Dinner Social: Movie Night

Take the fam to Twirl Cafe for a super-fun movie and nacho night! The folks at Twirl will have rotating  gourmet nachos paired with their full cafe menu and kid-friendly movie snack bar. The animated G-rated movie will start at 6:00 pm (upstairs) featuring awesome sound on their large wall-projector. Arrive early to grab a seat in the cafe and order dinner.
