NO3NO4 began in 2006 with a joke. When Lili Chen and Khrass Feng were reading a doll-making book together, Khrass teased that Lili was too clumsy to make such things. Lili not only rose to the challenge but began making sock dolls for fun, which sold out by Christmas. The duo founded a design studio together and their darling plush toys are now sold around the world.
