‘Minerva’ produces showy, 3-inch, lavender-pink flowers with dark red eyes and leathery, dark green foliage. This introduction from the U.S National Arboretum blooms abundantly from early-summer to fall. Adaptive to most soil types, 'Minerva' grows moderately fast and makes an excellent informal hedge or focal point. Selected for its longer blooming season and superior flowers, ‘Minerva’ also makes a great screen.
