The necklace features a delicate chain, made of small, closely linked gold plated over sterling silver metal links.   Two gemstones/stones are attached to the chain: a teardrop-shaped light grayish-white rainbow moonstone stone and a smaller, round, light blue topaz stone. The stones are set side-by-side, close to each other, and positioned toward the bottom of the necklace.  The necklace has a clasp/closure at the top, which is a typical component of the necklace's back. The clasp section of the chain is a slightly thicker chain of links.
