Each earring features a light sky-blue, square-cut gemstone, likely a topaz or a similar light-blue gemstone, set within a silver-tone metal frame. The frame is designed with interwoven, rope-like or twisted metal bands that encircle the stone and create a shape like a stylized  square, giving the earring a slightly textured look.  The earrings have standard, simple silver-tone metal earwires with ball-shaped attachments.
