Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man’s history. The name Turquoise is derived from the French, pierre turquoise, meaning “Turkish stone. Each earring features a rectangular-shaped oyster copper turquoise stone, exhibiting a mix of earthy tones, including beige, white, and brown.  Intricate patterns and variations in color within the stone are discernible. Embedded within the stone are small, blue turquoise stones, adding a pop of color. The setting for each earring is a rectangular frame, crafted from a light silver-toned sterling silver metal. A decorative rope-like or twisted wire design borders the rectangular frame.  Gold-colored, small brass ball accents are situated along the lower portion of the frame, below the stone. The earring fastenings are standard lever-back style.
