"Some of the aspects of this shoe feel lower quality than I’m used to. I think this product might not be an authentic Birkenstock. The buckle is clangy, makes noise, where no other Birkenstock I own has a noisy buckle (I own 22 pairs). The footbed is smoother than typical; it’s not labeled as a waxed leather footbed and that would be the only reason a footbed is smooth and not suede. The white sole is thinner than a typical Birkenstock, too. These shoes took over a month to get to me; when I order from the Birkenstock site directly it takes 5 business days. So where was this coming from that it took so long? (China?)"
